Finasteride for hair

Lots of bad side effects have been showing up linked to it lately... i decided to discontinue usage bc of that.... also what 956vette said.

Used it for 5 years with no side effects. Kept me from losing any more hair, little regrowth. It is good to start ruight away when you first notice signs of loss. Swithced to avodart last december, much better. Got thickening of hair all over the top of the head. No hair line movement though. Also, no sides from avodart.

Also very notable in my experience, I think that DHT is necessary for mass gains, not necessarily strength, but size. I think using a dht inhibitor really increases the amount of time it takes to put on size.

Both. I use avodart every day at .5mg. I think it effects gains all the time. There are some good articles on DHT and how it contributes to gains. I am not saying that I wouldn't take avodart in the future. It's like everything else in life, if you gain somewhere you give up something else. I have been able to keep my hair, would probably be bald by now but have given up some gains in the gym for it.

Thanks, I'll read up on it. I don't know anything about Avodart though.
Have been on propecia for 2 years now though not 1 or what I wrote earlier. I haven't noticed that I had trouble gaining though. But I'm still young and have nerver really had really BIG gains.
