    unfortunately, i havent been able to read for pleasure in oh about 8 years! other than that, I have to agree on RA Salvatore. Also try Richard Knaak, Weis ad hickman (of course), elizabeth moon, or if you are into fantasy/comedy: craig shaw gardner.

    Check out Eaters of the Dead by Michael Crichton......it's the book that they turned into "The 13th Warrior" movie.........pretty good read.

    I just finished reading the Left Behind series. There are 14 books so far............it's about the second coming......two writers interpitation of the book of Revelations. Pretty cool however it is a christain publication so it might not be your kind of thing.

    I don't read much fantasy but my younger brother reads them like I drink water.........I'll bet he reads four books a week..................and that's on a slow week. If I was ask him I'll bet he could rattle off ten authors that are good without giving it much thought.

    goodkind and salvatore are my favorite fantasy writers. ive been a big fan of drizzt do urden for over 15 years now. i really wish the next sword of truth book would come out. im impatient for my fantasy fix.

    hehe I actually have an extensive library with over 500 books that I have read.. some more than 10 times.. im a bookworm
