    Chest

Happy new years everyone. What is a good chest excersise for the middle part of your chest? I think that part is lagging for me, atleast it's taking longer to develop than the rest of my chest. Should I try some close grip bench presses?

    Thanks all...

Flyes always hit me in the middle of the chest as you can squeeze them together when you bring the weights back overhead. Its a very good shaping excercise as well

Ok, I'll try some fly's and alternate weeks for some DB Presses. Another question I have, I don't have a spotter, well I take my girl with me to the gym but she can't spot me, do you all think that benching on a smith machine is stupid? I hear people saying you shouldn't and what not, but what's the deal with that? Thanks I did it yesterday and feel pretty damn sore today, didn't max out and only did 3 sets of 8-12 reps for size.

The smith machine is ok but if you need a spotter just ask someone in the gym they will help you out...
