Allow me to preface by saying that you guys know me well enough to know i'm not some kind of sick pervert/pedophile. However, that does not prohibit me from noticing certain things and commenting on him. Anyway:

Why must the world be so cruel as to subject guys to the following situation - when you're in junior high, almost EVERY 23-28 year old woman thinks you're unbelievably cute. Then, when you're 23-28, it is the junior high aged girls who think you're incredibly cute (and I only know this because I sub a few days a week at the JH when I'm bored, and *any* guy my age who has been in such a position knows all too well that at the end of every class, a group of girls comes up all laughing and giggly to make some comment as to the effect of "you're hot"). I mean, it's just absurd....why would the fates set us up like this?

So i guess the question becomes, when do these girls change their standards so much? I consider myself pretty good looking, but by no means drop dead hot, yet when I visit my girlfriend at school, all her students are like, "ohmigod, he's the hottest guy I've ever seen in person". Now, I repeat, NO ONE should EVER consider me the hottest guy they've seen in person, unless they've lived in a cage of some kind with only moldy bread to subsist on. Yet, at some point between the ages of 15 or so and 21 or so....they undergo a big shift that knocks me down from hottest guy ever to whatever it is I am now.

Well, think of it this way. When you're little...older women (mid 20s) think you're cute. They don't want to date you...they don't want to bang you. They want to tassle your hair and talk about junior high. So yea, you're unbelievably cute, but in a little brother sort of way...

When you're older, and the little girls are coming around, the attraction, is less physical (though that's what they call it) and more the fact that you are older, more mature...much more confident, more developed...than the little boys they are around and probably dating at the time...they see you as the gateway to adulthood...something to prove that they are mature, and that you'll treat them incredibly well...they call you hot...but most older guys are hot...at least if you take care of yourself...there are limits to everything.

My little sister just graduated high school...all of her little friends were in love the past few years, 'cause i was in college, and i'm not bad looking (sounds like we're in the same boat...NO ONE should consider me a god amongst men...).

It's been my observation that to young women a man's age is directly proportional (up to a certain point, say 30) with his relative hotness. Girls (especially JR HS and HS age) will do anything to date an older guy. I knew lots of guys (some of them were kinda losers) that used to prey on that fact. I say enjoy it for the obvious ego boost. Plus, from what I know of Big Green once he tried to have a conversation with these girls their brains would explode, and we certainly don't want that to happen. Mark

Quite honestly, there are a few girls in these classes (13 and 14) that very seriously look 19-21. Furthermore, there's at least two, and I'm not joking here, that if I saw them out at a bar I'd A)not a million years think they "snuck" in with fake IDs, and B) would probably have to work up some confidence to approach. It is frightening.

I considered that to be honest. But girls that age usually don't have that sly kinda criticism down yet. And, on top of that, it's a pretty established fact that any guy not nasty ass ugly who is 19+ in such a position is by default hot.

Sitting here at work and I suddenly realized that I have something else to add. I work at a school. That has led me to this observation. Is it just me or are girls getting hotter and hotter, at younger ages? I should add that I work at a college so they are legal and all. The other possible conclusion I have drawn is that as I have gotten older my standards have gone down so I am attracted to more women that I once wouldn't have been. Who knows? Mark
