Lord of the Rings: The return of the king (no spoiler)

I watched the movie today and I must say for anyone that enjoys the trilogy, you won't be dissapointed. Most people won't like it because of the fact it is about three hours and fiveteen minutes long. It did recieve a standing O from the crowd in Kentucky. Very good movie.

It was great. I saw the midnight showing. People were clapping and yelling at everything though. And I swear to god, waiting in line, there must have been at least 4 games of D&D going. RR

i thought it was great, but a bunch of people started leaving with about twenty minutes left in the movie. guess they had never read the books, and expected the fall of sauron to be the end of the movie.

I always pack sandwiches and protein bars for a movie. Soda, popcorn and candy won't get me big.

I'm going to see LOTR Saturday, can't wait!!!

That movie was awesome. I loved it. It is a great ending to a great set of movies. I had to eat in the middle of the movie. I huge piece of chicken with a lot of rice. I made my girlfriend hide it in her purse.

in spite of the aparant failures when it comes to adapting books to movies, I must say that this trilogy has done a great job. they took a very difficult story and made 3 good movies out of it. mad props to everyone involved. it has been a long time since anybody has even attempted to make an epic, about 90% of everything in the box office is crap. im glad somebody put some time, effort, and thought into making movies again.

    peace

This trilogy was deffiently way better no comparsion to The Matrix Trilogy. I wish they would now make a movie of the hobit. Kind of go back to the beginning like they did with the star wars movies.

LMAO. My girl HATES it when I make her bring her purse in to the movie when she doesnt want to just so I can smuggle in food.
3.5 hours is a long time. They should have guys in there yelling "PEANUTS, candy bars, SODA" and throw em at you so you dont have to get up.

NO. They need to make the Tales of NARNIA. The lion witch and the wardrobe books. That would be awesome.

Alas, I finally have a justification for living in such a cold climate. Here in WI, now that we have snow on the ground, it's quite easy to smuggle nutritious contraband in to the movies underneath a coat. I'm thinking beef jerky or a couple protein bars. Mark

We saw it last night at about midnight, and I have to say it rocked.

Peter Jackson should be smacked for all the liberties he took with the storyline, but hey, the movies were great. This one is probably the best, definitely the most intense. Gotta love it when they lauch heads over the city walls

The line was assenine though. If you're not a hardcore LOTR fan, wait a few weeks....

I am, so it was worth it. Heh.

I'd say more but I'd spoil it for some.

I went to see it this afternoon at 2pm. Around 2:30 with no movie yet the usher dude turned on the lights and said the projector was pooched and we were not going to see the film! After standing in line forever to get in to begin with and listning to the Biatch yak about F All behind me the whole time I had to remind myself not to let the fina/test i'm on get the better of me.

Got a free ticket to another showing of my choice and a refund.

All I wanted was to see the movie and i'm not sure when/if i'll be able to make it back!
