I wouldn't think any pros smoke. Smoking inhibits muscle growth through restriction of circulation.

I think that smoking's hindernace of muscle growth would be because it kills your appetite so much. But every now and again you walk past a big dude at the gym who reeks of smoke so who knows.

I'd love to see that video. I was surprised to see him smoke in the preview too. I figure that if you want to go far, then smoking wouldn't be the smartest thing to do.

I started sharing cigarettes at night with my gf last year in an attempt to get her to quite... thought that she'd feel quilty that she was getting me to start smoking. I was only having like half a cig 3 times a night with her and it really did effect my workouts. Felt more out of breath. I stoped after a month.

Not worth it dude. Plus it costs a bundle of money.

If you watch it, you can tell markus is playing, no doubt.

As far as pros smoking, well most don't because it kills their appetite, but there's definitely some out there that do. Of course don't forget that scene in Pumping Iron at the end with Arnold in all of his glory, of course he had alot of other bad habits.

regardless of who does it, it's idiotic. 99% of lung cancers arise in smokers. 90% of lung cancer patients are terminal.

As Chris pointed out, it's definately not good for you. I'm sure if a Pro is foolish enough to smoke, they're gonna try and hide it just as if they were on rec drugs. Not the type of thing one brags about - Yea, I smoke, drink whiskey, and snort coke!?!?!
