Something that helped mine heal when I sprained it was to put a heating pad on it at night. Also depending on how severe it is you might want to see the doc. It took four weeks for mine to come back to full strength.
I have a shoulder problem as well..It feels like it wants to pop out of socket when I do incline bench (BB)
It’s not to bad with DB’s ...sorry I have no answer for you ..But if some one else has one I would like to hear it
