Walking is better than running for burning fat in most cases...As far as the "dieting society" here are concerned.

If you can get away with walking, then walk.

I would be careful running or walking with a stress fracture. If you cannot run walking is much better than sitting on your ass or doing no cardio at all. If you belong to a gym, you may opt for a 0 impact cardio such as eliptical machine or star master. If you risk reinjuring, just don't risk it.

ditto. do something that puts less stress on your stress fracture. i would also opt, if you can for a light interval regime. walk moderately fast for 40 seconds, then slow paced walk for 20 seconds. keep switching that up for 40-45 minutes.

well i squat heavy deadlift heavy but when it come to running or jumping i feel little pain( i got this injury while jumping from high places while doing military training) but i can walk long distance without feeling the pain
