    i believe it is used to slow down an over active thyroid... i know my dad's using it (from the doc) and i believe he has hyperactive thyroid

    Like BDTR said, it's thyroid hormone (T4). it gets converted to T3. roughly 1/3 of T4 gets converted to T3...that number may go down as doses get higher. Do some searching on T3.

    I'm getting all this doctor Bull i want to know what t3 is used for in AS can you just give it to me strait.

    It raises your BMR...increases your metabolism. Do your searches on this site. "T3" in the search function here will have you reading all day
