I am going to order some B12 and I want to see how much I can use and still be getting a benifit from it. I am thinking 1cc E3D. Or is more needed? Any other thoughts?

Ive never had an increase in appetite from B12.
i've heard good things from b12 and increasing hunger. i am curious to know how appetite stimulants works though. you can get them in injectable form from most vet sites. they're used for horses. if it makes a horse hungry i bet it'll make you hungry. haha.
Bump on this. very interesting.

I use a 1/2 cc ed and sometimes 1cc ed.I get a slight energy boost and increased hunger .........it works for me,so I'm not changing anything.
From what I've read, and understand, there is no proven way to increase appetite, there are some psychological approaches (e.g. munchies from smoking marijuana, which has no physiological causes) but I dont think that B12 will greatly increase your appetite...
Doesnt hurt to try it....

I use 0.5ml or 1 ml depending on how I feel. Seems to help me - especially when using Var
Cool, some say it does some say it doesnt. Ill think ill try some anyway. Ive gotten sick and lost a lot of weight. So every little bit helps
TTT for more responses
I've been using oral b12 while on my cycle now because of being sick and dbol my appetite was down. It def does help with the eating though with the oral you just have to take more, I use it after each meal
1000mcg/wk is sufficient. any more is overkill.
The idea behind taking b12 to stimulate appetite is that the body want to establish a balance between the various b vitamin levels. By injecting (or taking orally, which is far less effective), the body may respond by increasing hunger to acquire the other b vitamins from foods.
Only 1000mcg a week? Any other thoughts?
Solrock thanks for the info
I have been taking 1000mcg's EOD with my Prop and haven't noticed any hunger increase...I guess it depends on who you askOriginally Posted by Mr. Sparkle
1000 mcg?? I assume you mean mg?Originally Posted by 2vascular
I didnt notice any hunger, but that is why I bought it. Now I use it ed to take the sting out of my fina inj
I thought that b12 stings when injected? how would that help with a fina inj?
In my experience B-12 is painless. I use it to cut with my prop shots to try to ease the pain, works with some success. Looks a liitle weird mixing a water based and oil based though...Originally Posted by Jjdigs74

How about Cyproheptadine to increase appetite. Anyone tried that? It's an antihistamine, that causes increased appetie as a side effect. Does anyone have any experience with that?
to increase appetite i take 1200mcg/eod! mcg is 1/1000 of a mg i believe.
I take 1000mcg/day and it works well.
The thing to keep in mind is that if you do not have a b12 deficiency it will do nothing for you.
imo it is just a placebo effect. never done anything for me.
Like Mr. Sparkle said Var decreases your appetiteOriginally Posted by flexshack
Well here is the thing, you have to understnad what the b-complex vitamins aid. B12 for example is created by the intestines(one of the parts) and you begins producing less as you get older. B12 deficiency can lead to anemia and such disorders that are cause when your body stops producing DNA. It also helps converts those carbohydrates into energy more efficiently thus managing your diet more smoothly.
yes, i know. i have used var before. however, var is very effective while on lower calorie diets when cutting. so increasing your appetite while on var (which is usually used for cutting), may not always be the best plan.Originally Posted by powerlifter
