    405 on incline

Just wanted to say I hit 405 on incline bench press this week. Not bragging, just pretty excited about it- and only 2 weeks into my cycle w/ no kickers. I hit 315 for 12, than 365 for 5, then 405 for 2 and 1 more with a spot. All were to failure. On flat im doing 455 and hope to hit the magical 495 in the summertime. Then its on to 585.

For someone who weighs 230lbs I should be benching a lot more than what I do

My chest is probably my most lagging body part. I have the hardest time building it up.

Not bragging my a$$. lol Just messing with you. If I hit 405 on the incline, I'd be tellin' everyone too. Great job. I am in search of 5 plates right now. I hit 415 easy, 425 is coming along, flat bench of course, raw. Don't know what I can do on the incline. I know I can hit 315, but that is about it. Again, props to you.

I consider that a great milestone. Lots of bros in the gym can hit 405 flat but it is nice to be able to hit it on incline. Congrats on a great lift.

Very impressive man...might want to consider entering a powerlifting competition. By the way, how much do you weigh?

Not me... I can't get even 400 on flat...... Best I've done was 355 on flat at 180lbs

Oddly enough,I'm stronger on inclines than on flat....has something to do with the fact I'm 5' 9" and think of myself as being short. So I always focused on building my delts and pecs to give me a much broader look.....incline has always been the foundation of my chest workout.

I guess its just a little discouraging when your work out partner puts on 4 plates per side and throws it around like its his bitch, yet I've got to have at least 15 pounds on the guy weight wise.

Then again, I've got 3/4 of a cycle under my belt while he's done AS for approximately 10 years. lol
