Just had gyno surgery- the lowdown

well guys, there are posts on here every day about gyno so i thought id write a bit about my experience. i have had gyno through puberty- the old 'man boobs' i am very muscular everywhere but no matter what i did they would not shift or change size. am 22 now and thought **** it too long have i not been able to wear certain clothes and my body has looked out of proportion. so i decided to do something about it. luckily i have a friend who is a surgeon who put me in touch with one of his colleagues. now this guy specialises in mascetomys for woman basically removing breast tissue, he is not a plastic surgeon. i went to see him he said he would remove the tissue no probs. so went into hospital on mon for pre op- blood tests and stuff. it was weird because all the nurses had never known any male to be in for this type of surgery. so first off it was embarrassing- tues came at last, day for surgery- had it done and woke up with drains in tues afternoon. they kept these in for 2 days again very embarrassing and uncomfortable. the idea of this was too stop any excess blood building up or something. got the drains out today and am now home. what a difference. i am writing this to let people know who are having this type of surgery that this is a body altering and i think life changing surgery. for me so far so good, already have the tight t shirts on but please guys dont rush into this without a lot of though and consideration.

Jeezus Christ, Thats a pretty hardcore decision, I know its kinda personal, but will you be posting results? up to your discresion I know, but anyhow hope all heals ok and did it cost a pretty penny for those inquiring?

guys, i dont mind answering any questions about it and will answer them as truthfully and honestly with no bull. unfortunately i dont have access to the before and after pics but it is a massive change- before when i had a t shirt on or tight top you could clearly see the breast sticking out, now its completely flat. i think in a months time ill start working on the chest building it up, they shaved the area so when the hair grows back it should cover the scars- i jave some dressings on just to cover the wounds but they will come off in a few days. I think ill go have a few beers tonight to celebrate.
ps it did not cost a penny as this was kinda an old boys network i knoew somebody hwo knew somebody just got me in there.

me too bro. just had gyno surgery last friday, and its ****in great.

i had a small lump behind my left nip, which the surgeon SUGGESTED he'd remove AND call it a "tissue biopsy" so ins. would cover it as opposed to "gyno surgery" which is cosmetic and ins. doesnt cover.

so far, so good. its still a little pointy, but thats just localized swelling and a small rash i got from the bandages.

other than taht, its ****in great huh?

how much does it usually run? do you guys have noticeable scars? i mean like to where someone would know you had the surgery? and also fellas what is like the possibility of a bad surgery or something, or is it an easy procedure? thanks

bro, i was SO suprised at how small the scar was. actually, its not even fair to call it a scar, cuz its not. its about 3/4 of an inch long, located right on the "border" of my lower nip. i'm shocked he could take out the lump and gland with that small of an incision. i've looked so close at it, and can't even tell its been done.

supposedly my doc. had done many surgerys like mine, so i guess he knew exactly what he was doing.

hey man i'm glad that it went great for you. i have a lump under my left nip and i am young. it is noticeable that it is different when my shirt is off, but its just a little more pointy than the right. i heard either 3,000-6000 which seems pretty steep for a small procedure. how long did it take, di dyou have any pain after?

only a few hours,no pain, no scar, no problems, no COST (ins. covered it) and i got some painkillers for afterwards

am from the uk so its a different system here man. basically you dont have insurance, everyone is entitiled to free health care hence why we pay taxes etc. but the disadvantage for this is that most ops have long waiting lists and for something like gyno surgery you are looking at about a 3-4 yr waiting list as its not deemed as life threatening or important, its viewed as cosmetic. So the only option is to go private- which you have to pay for. This means you can basically get it done in a week but costs around £3-4000 however i have a friend who is a surgeon who put me in touch with one of his colleagues who does these type of surgery and he got me in within 2 weeks free of charge. Its completely the old boys network and i feel sorry for the people who are on these waiting lists but hey if you have the contacts then thats what happens.

how long r u out of the gym for? (working chest?)

am taking all this month off to allow for absolute maximum recovery and healing no lifting or any sports. start my cycle on 2nd may so its perfect timing and am enjoying my month off. its weird have been out wearing fitted tops and t shirts- so many people coming up saying you look toally ripped mate and really lean, amazing how much the chest actually contributes to your whole body image.
