Thats very cowardly for Tyson, let me explain.
If they used K-1 rules Tyson would still be able to utilize all his skills in the match.
By using boxing only rules he is handicapping his opponent,as LaBanner wont be able to use all his skills.
Althou smart its a cowardly move.Last edited by Grappler_Mike; 06-29-2004 at 12:50 AM.

Lebanner is a well rounded standup fighter, but he isnt anywhere near as good as tyson in boxing alone! It must be a good money deal for Lebanner for him to take it.
A while back Don Frye was pounding people in Pride and claimed his boxing was so good he could knock out mike tyson!!! Lebanner proved Fryo wrong by KO'ing him silly!
Should be interesting matchup.

Yeh its wierd how good striker in MMA doesnt equal good boxer.
Take Wanderlei Silva(my favorite fighter)deadly MMA striker, but throw him in K-1 and I bet he would be mediocre at best.
