Wow, I can't believe people would even consider doing this for a living. **** promoters making a killing at the expense of fighters.

The fact that's all they are paying these guys is sick...
The assholes that own the UFC now are worth millions...

UFC is very harsh, if your on their goodside then your making $100k+a fight, if your trying ot make it up the ladder then they pay you peanuts, screw you out of decisions and sack you if you lose once!! George St.Pierre and Renato Verissimo are both excellent welterweights that should be paid more, St.Pierre is in line to fight Hughes and he's making less than a tenth of what matt hughes is making!! And if he loses a decision watch him get kicked out.

This is the reason that everyone has gone over to the pride...They pay much better over there, none of this $3,000 crap...

Man, thats sh*t money. Where did you get the info, I want to post on another board and would like to give a source for the info?.

You will likely have to dig around and compile info from many sources to get this info, which is consistent with everything I've ever read on the subject. I can only imagine neither the fighters or the promoters are proudly touting the meager cheques they cut. And like Ironfist said, it's the reason anyone that can get a Pride fight is hopping on a boat asap. Not to mentioned in North America fighters are generally seen as bums and degenerates whereas in Japan they are looked upon with respect and admiration. Even if you are a Gaijin.
