    Moving to china...

I just found out that my wife and I will be moving to Beijing to work at the embassy! I cant wait to start martial arts over there!! We'll be there for 3 years. My fighting experience isnt too extensive. I studied JKD for 2 years and Muai Tai for a year, but thats it. Im pretty stoked!

look for Chin-Na iit is joint locks and throws like Jujitsu... San Shao is muy tai with throws.... And SuieJao is chinese JUDO. Not to mention there is WingChung (strikes with trapping) and many other chinese styles! Try to do some Chi Gung and build your breathing tecniques, and balance... This will make you better at any MA.
Just watch out for SARS...lol sounds like a great opp.

Thanks hurricane...Never heard of Chin-Na, San Shao, or SuieJao. Definately heard of wingchung though, which i was thinking of taking, though its not my choice of arts. SARS, great.. I started yoga just recently, which has similar breathing to qigong, but ill check qigong out too...

I studied Shuai Chiao(Chinese Judo) when I was younger. You will gain a lot of knowledge on hip throws and using your opponents weight against them. If I was you I would study the **** out of Chin-Na and learn some joint manipulation. Then apply that knowledge to submission fighting. Have fun, man.
