    But when that dude from sound beat records let the guy in the blue trunks have a couple free licks, blue trunks should have pushed his nose into his fvcking brain!

    Kimbo started to fight in the pro ciruit on a couple of indy shows, i cannot find any record of him on sherdog.com

    I did ear that in one of is fights he did gas out pertty bad.

    kimbo is tough as nails, with much more skill as a boxer than people give him credit for. you won't find him on sherdog (he only does underground bareknuckle fights), but he trains with Marcos Avellans crew at FFA sometimes, and they state that he has several recent fights that they releasing soon on DVD. he did however lose to MMA fighter Sean Gannon - kimbo is a great puncher with an rock solid chin, so they didn't think he could be beaten if they had rules banning groundfighting and kicks. they didn't realize that Gannon could do standing submissions - kimbo was almost submitted early in the fight with a guillotine, but was rescued by interference by his crew. he defended a second guillotine by smashing gannon against the wall so he couldn't arch back and finish. they both took their toll tho. gannon also did a great job bodypunching, wearing him down, and then finished him off. kimbos crew also didn't realize that the no kicking rules (kicks defined as striking with shin or foot) didn't include knees, and gannon landed a few knees to the head as well.

    he won his local golden gloves 6 times (US). this is not as impressive as it sounds - he never ranked at the nationals, and a white heavyweight that doesn't get a nice pro contract after winning the golden gloves 6 times probably has some real limitations as a boxer. he switched sports, and seems to be doing much better in MMA now.

    kimbos team is pretty smart - he's way to one dimensional a fighter to succeed in MMA, but he's damn near unbeatable by those "bareknuckle boxing" rules they go by - skull deforming power, quick, athletic, ferocious. and damn near indestructible - he took an incredible number of shots from a hard hitting 280 pounder. most fighters probably can't hurt him at all.

    Well said. I would love to see him fight in the UFC or PrideFC! Hell, he should do a KotC match or two!
