Looks like a career of a good fighter is over.
Looks like a career of a good fighter is over.
i agree
At 41 I hope he has the good sence to retire. He lost his last 2 fights by a very close decisions to a man 15 years younger. I thought he won both of those fights but a W is a W.
Great fighter but his time has past.
I was really rootin for him, but when its your time to go its your time to go. He is still mentally young, but physically he just doesn't have it to go toe to toe with a man so much younger and knock him out. Which is the only way he can win obviously.
i also agree.. i think Hopkins won the 2 fights.. but we.. i still consider bernard as one of the greatest middleweights of alltime.
this year has been all about old school fighters destroying their careers..
-tyson
-roy jones
-hopkins just to name a few...
i think its time for the old school fighters to make way to the new school
The smartest out of all of them was lennox lewis who retired at the right time.. unlike all the other fighters that put more emphasis on earning money then ruining their record in the ring
