Now I no he is not a popular fighter by anymeans. After all he is not the most well spoken guy and deffiantly not GQ material. I admit his loss to Vitale was funny and that knockout punch from Terrel was great. I know he deserved his title shot and Lindland said Couture has wore the same sportsbook logo to weigh ins. I think Lindland is an awful match up for Franklin who is a much better champ to the general public i.e Stand up fighter well spoken not so f*ckin ugly. I like Franklin but I think the UFC should have kept Lindland around or Fired him after his deserved title shot. What do you guys think

Matt Lindland is one of the most boring fighters i have ever seen, but still is record is amazing and yes he should have fought Franklin.

The world of MMA is weird, people deserving title shot not getting them like George St Pierre and people not deserving rematch like Frank Trigg getting another shot at Hugues.

David Loiseau is next in line to fight Franklin and i hope it happens.

Liddlen has some good fight in him and he might pop back in UFC at some point, i dont know if Pride has any interest in him ,hell look at Baroni he was on a losing streak then he joined the Bushido Pride and started winning.

Point is i dont really care about Matt Lindland i think that there are fighters that need more attention then him and put on some better fights then he does, people get tired of the same old takedown, head in the fence and elbows and punches, i usually fast forward these boring moments LOL.

UFC has some great fighters but they need to be careful not to lose them to Pride.

I do agree with you and have pointed out like Wand and Sak you need to put on a good show and win. I just think becouse someone is boring they shouldn't be cut. I mean he deserved his shot. Franklin on the knuckle pit said he would be his toughest competitor to date. He maybe boring but he wins fights

Matt "The Yawn" Lindland is a great fighter who everyone hates to watch, but Dana fired him cuz he was next in line to fight Franklin who was a TUF Golden Boy at the time. Pretty shitty move.

Thank you I agree boring as hell but he came and helped out our greco team and he is really a master of positioning and really taking away a guys heart(know it sounds corny). I just think he got screwed
