Self training at home (basement)
Me and my girlfriend gotta move out of our small appartment,
We decied to buy a house so this is a freaking hole in my budget.
We are gonna get back into training with weights and regular cardio and i will have to set back martial arts training for a while, freaking loanes and all.
Since i will have a basement i would like to know what i would need to self train myself and get back into kicking punching and all.
I got the bas rutten cds boxing, muay thai and mma training.
I was thinking of buying thoses: http://www.fitnessdepot.ca/shop/stor...g-P444C22.aspx
But what can i do for leg kicks.
Is there other equipment i can buy to train at home. Not sure my girlfriend wants to train with me with thai pads LOL.
Thanks guys.

I add a wavemaster once but the damn base is too large and sometimes you end up kicking it LOL.
I dont know if i should buy a real punching bag with stand.

banana bag cought my attention, can you please tell me since thoses i found are empty, what do you fill it with???? sorry i really sound stupid here but it really is the first time i ear of theses bags.
You can knee them and elbow them has well and what it says is that it really feels like a real person, i noticed that in the bas rutten dvd training the workout on the heavy bag is a banana bag.
Thanks for the info

people use all sorts of shit
soem just go sand
some go sand into like 300 ziplock baggies
others use strips of cloth, this is what i have always heard the best about, as it doesnt pack down rock hard like sand

You have to get membership & a trainer + sparring partner - pankration/jujitsu is a team sport.
My suggestion for you, for right now - is to work on strength/cardio/endurance using regular gym equipment.

You guys are great thanks yeah an unfilled bag delivered to Canada would cost a lot less then a filled one.
The drop down bag looks quit cool too.
Thanks again
