This is not much of a match I doubt Jeremy Horn has not throughly tested his ground game many times since Matt says 90% of what he knows on the ground is from Jeremy and is BJJ is much more modern then Royces. He seems to have problems with slick grapplers who push the pace and keep him on the defensive i.e. Charuto well Royce seems to wait for his opponent to make a mistake. I dont see this fight being very competitive at all.

ya, i agree. i think this fight is more of a publicity/freak show thing for UFC. lets get a legend in here to draw some fans, but he can't just fight any can, because then it would look like he was trying to make a comeback.

I think royce will loose but is probably gonna surprise alot of people with how competitive he will make it

I really hope Royce gives Matt a run or beats him...that would be awesome. I am sick of people hating on Royce, he mainstreamed BJJ which no matter what anyone says is still a top martial art.

If Cecil Peoples is the ref we got problems. They need to let this one go. Gracies don't tap in MMA, and Royce will be pissed if a ref stops the fight or awards a TKO. Matt should have to tap him, KO him or ROyce's corner throw in the towel, anything else is not good enough in my eyes.
How could they TKO a legend, hall of fame, person who attacted so many people to the sport???

royce must be making a pretty penny from this fight.

I don't think Royce would have taken the fight if he didn't think he would win. That being said, UFC has put a lot behind Matt Hughes as one of the main representatives for the company so they're taking a risk here that one of their posterboys might go down. Then again BJ Penn beat him and after UFC fired him they made it seem like that match never happened

you know it's NOT like Royce has been relaxing all this time. I know he had atleast 1 recent fight in pride i think

I have this vision that Matt puts Royce against the fence and bangs him with elbows.
Damn that no vision that is a prediction that is gonna happen. There is no way in hell that Royce can match Hugues power.
Still i can wait to see this fight, i do beleive that Gracie will be competitive too he has the heart of a champion for sure but will greatly be over powered.
