I'm not saying no but the only way I would have one would look alot like one of those Backyard Wrestling videos, but as far as having a legit event at a venue, Just check with the owners of a venue, club, bar.... Like around here they have these amatuer boxing fights at this club where you sign up that night for $10 and you get 3 rounds with some other random dude and if you win you get a $100 bar tab.

it is very hard to do. There are licenses you have to have to throw that kind of event. You also will need to get your state's boxing commision involved. You are going to have to get a good idea of what rules you are going to have in place. You'll need alot of seed money and honestly without proper advertising you probably won't get enough of a crowd to make a good profit. That is all assuming you want to throw a quality event.

I have a friend who started his own organization with another investor. They put in a hefty bit of dough to start but started small at an indian casino, bought a cage, contacted local schools for amateur fighters, offered purses of a few hundred bucks and then put in a lot of time marketing the venue giving deals on advance tickets, got a local club to supply dancers as ring girls, and rented out bleachers and held the show outside. The first one had a fair turnout, after a few shows he started recouping his money and was able to start putting up large enough purses to attract lower level pro fighters. He does pretty good now and holds a mix of amateur and pro fighters most from west coast, some from Hawaii, and a few from the east coast. He co-owns a gym to so he can let his own fighters start out there to. Took a lot of work but he's got a good thing going now. Good luck.

First thing you need to check your states laws regarding combat sports etc...
