Is the Hughes/Gracie fight a title fight or no? None of the ads list it as a title fight, and the UFC website shows Hughes listed at 170lbs, and Gracie at 180. Is this just an exhibition or what? I'm embarrassed to even have to ask...

naw...dana couldn't afford to give hima title fight. Cus if he won, he'd have to pay royce a 2 mill pocket each fight since he won't fight for less.

It was never even thought about being for the title, Royce agreed to one fight and one fight only, he is still under contract with K-1 and it was K-1 & Zuffa that worked out this deal for him to fight Hughes.

The fight is going to take place at 175lbs and as of right now will be 3x5min rounds. Royce was on the UG last night and stated they originally said 5x5min rds but they changed their mind due to PPV time etc...

OK, that's what I thought, but just wanted to be sure. I knew they already signed GSP for a title fight and couldn't figure out how that would work. Sure will look bad on UFC if Hughes loses though. Not that I think he will.
