Diego Sanchez v Karo Parisyan confirmed
This fight is going to happen in August as the lead-in for TUF4. Finally we'll get to see what Diego has against some top-level competition...personally, I think Karo will own his ass.

I want Karo to win, but I have a feeling he's gonna lose.

BTW..whatever happened to Karo being the #1 WW contender? He gets injured and now has to fight Diego?
Parisyan would've made a much more entertaining matchup vs Hughes rather than the bird brained Gracie idea..

I agree Diego is an animal, and he is only gunna get better. But with that being said I don't think he has fought anyone too great yet either. Im sure he will take this fight with Karo and then people will respect him more.

diego is not an animal, he is young and promising but far from an animal. His best win is Nick Diaz who seems to have been on the slide lately, I dont think he beat john Alessio at ufc 60 gracie vs hughes. He has no stand up he is a average wrestler. Wait till he gets matched up with someone who is better then him at his own game. For example sean sherk, matt hughes, GSP, Frank Trigg, Karo will also beat the dirty sanchez.

i think this is a tough matchup for both guy but GO KARO GO!
i hope he sends dirty sanchez home shit on.

Karo is his toughest opponent so far...he's really going to have his hands full with him. I didn't think Sanchez looked all that good against Allessio, he's going to have to do a lot better to take Karo. If he beats Karo, I'll give him some credit..I just don't think he's immediately one of the top MWs like a lot of other people do.
Karo got a bad deal after he had to pull out of his fight with hughes because of the injury, but you've got to admit that GSP deserves the next shot. I do think that Karo probably deserved a fight with BJ Penn to see who would get the next title shot.

Karo needs to work on his cardio for that fight, he almost gases out, Diego can go all three rounds at almost full tilt. God I hope Karo beats him.

Thats right Karo's weekness is cardio and fitness, Diego is more prepared in that department.
Diego has lots of potential but his performance in this last UFC showed that it doesnt take a top five fighter to shut down diego's gameplan. He is not ready for The top five.

Diego has some legit skills at what he does- wrestling and jits. And he's very strong. His stand up need a lot of work. He's got a lot of wins in King of the Cage (I think that's the right promotion), which is no joke. Like anyone, style matchups can make a huge difference in how they perform against their opponent.
Did anyone notice how different he looked physically in the last UFC? More streamlined- even his face looked slimmer. He lost a lot of his "babyfat".

Diego doesn't need to cycle he absorbs the power of nature through meditation. Diego just needs a good thunderstorm and he will clean out the ufc 170 pound division

Diego came and worked at my training center before UFC 60 - he looked pretty damn lean... but i wasn't too impressed with his performance during the fight... i was 2 rows from the cage near Alessio's corner and heard the interaction from his coaches... Diego could hear & see what Alessio's corner were trying to do... he just hung on like a monkey on his back... I think his fight against Nick Diaz was a war and with Karo coming up that he needs to get his head out of his ass and train!!! Diego needs to show us why he gets paid the big bucks! Maybe I'm being bitter since he wouldn't roll with me - he just didn't want a chick to submit his ass!!!
