I don't like Haynes either. But i have to give him credit. He really took a beating and kept fighting. He also came out of alot of chokes and arm bars.

Haynes fought hard, but Bisping is on another level than he is.

Bisping's got some talent. Very good all around MMA game. He beat the piss out of haynes, but Josh is one tough SOB for taking that beating and escaping the sub attempts. I would have liked to see Bisping vs Hamill.. Bisping would beat him too but it may have been a better fight

Bisping reminds me of Shogun abit...just in aggressive style.
Haynes, he said he is dropping to 170lbs after the fight. He will probably be competitive at that weight he did look soft for 205lbs. Also, they said he used to weight over 300lbs which alone is amazing.

Yeah, I was shocked to hear that Josh was dropping down to 170...that's a big drop. Riggs is about the only one I know of that has been able to drop that much, but even he had to go back up to 185.

haynes has too much soft, loose, flappy, saggy, skin to drop to 170 unless he has dr. rey cut it off for him.
i was pissed at first about them taking a point for the illegal knee because i hate how guys can go either on their knees or turtle in the ufc and not face any consequences but i guess it made it a better fight since it took longer for bisping to beat that ILS-sufferer down. man he dropped strait onto his head and shoulder on that last knockdown. he looked pretty ****ed.

Nah, haynes is one tough dude, it was definetly a great fight.
The reason people dont like haynes is because he's not pleasing to look at (and he obviously suffers from ILS), the guy used to be something like 360 lbs and then got into MMA, as was said earlier, he was simply outmatched. Bisping is a european MMA champion, not just champion in the british fight leagues, he's also undefeated, and as we saw, he certainly has a great club that he trains out of. Haynes, has far, far less years of experience, so it would be expected for him to lose.
If nothing else, it was very entertaining, and so i give Haynes props for that, any other fighter would've tapped

170 for Bisping would be the worst decision. He wouldn't even be able to contend with the top 5 or 6 MW's. I'm sure he's better suited for 185 or 205

Agreed!

I think 205 is a pretty good spot for him right now. Can he beat Liddell right now, hell no. But compared to the other divisions, he'll have the best chance of being at the top soon. A fight between Forrest and Bisping would be kick ass, although I'm sure Dana won't pit his TUF winners against each other like that.

He might ya never know. I think that would be a good fight but im willing to bet bisping would win.

No way Bisping will go to 185...he is 6'2 and he holds his weight VERY well. Plus I hope he doesnt because the UFC needs all the quality LHW it can get.

Its got plenty of quality and bisping will just add to that IMO.
