A new champ eventually.......
Does anyone think that Mike Bisping has a chance at being the next light heavy weight champ? I can see it happening eventually but im not sure if he can take chuck liddell just yet.

He definitely has the potential to be a champion, I dont think very soon but in the future. He is IMO the best TUF prospect so far.

Yeah, I would say he has the potential for it, but I wouldn't say he'll be the NEXT champ.

I think once Bisping faces some real competition, we'll really see how good he can be. He's got a sick game, but he hasn't faced the toughest of challenges so far. I'm excited to see how he will fare in the UFC.

chuck is a horrible matchup for a striker. mezger beat the living **** out of chuck for 10 minutes strait, gassed, and caught one punch and was KTFO'd. no disrespect to bisping, but mezger is both a better kickboxer and alot bigger 205er than him.
i can't see bisping staying at 205, i'm thinking 185 or maybe even 170.

Yeah i could see that too but we'll see what happens. The more he trains the better he's gonna get.

I could see him POSSIBLY at 185, but no way at 170. Dude is 6'2, and pretty well built. He actually looks fairly lean at 205, but would be cut up at 185.

Yeah there was rumor of Bisping dropping to 185...He would be piss weak tho..He should stay where he is and gain more experience at that weight in ufc..Hopefully leading to a title fight with chuck,Imho chuck has a little to much power for bisping at the minute!!

I was thinking about if he were to drop to. I think he'd do pretty well against the MW's, but no where close to Franklin or Silva's level as of yet.

Rich Franklin would beat the piss out of him IMO.

I really hope he stays at 205...I mean after Babalu whos next?? Tito?? I dont wanna say it but I think Bisping vs. Tito would be an intriguing match up...

It would be a good fight but Franklin would win IMO.

Chuck would blast his ass into next year. Problem is, Chuck is now 37 years old and does'nt have much left while Bisping is young and coming up.

Yeah thats what im getting at. I think Chuck would kick his ass right now but in the near future it could be the other way around.

Chuck v Bisping could be a very boring fight imo..As both stand off and chuck fights mostly going backwards.(Must be italian) lol.....Only joking...sorry
