don't know a good gym that proclaimed itself a "mma" gym.
I dont know about you guys but the place i train in mma isnt at the gym.
go to www.subfighter.com and U can do a search on national gyms.
American Kickboxing Academy in San Jose,ca is the best in the world! We have some of the worlds best Muay Thai fighters, Brazilain Jui-Jitsu artists, and Mixed Martial Artists (ex. Pual Buentello,Mike Swick, Josh Koschek, Mike Kyle, Phil Baroni, Josh Thompson...)

By "best" I think in terms of results. I my be partial, but Champions Gym (Miletich Fighting Systems) here in Bettendorf, Iowa has definately made a name for itself in the world of MMA.

I would agree, MFS is a very reputable and well respected camp.Originally Posted by Logan13

Hm.. I train at Ray Longo's IMAA (international martial arts academy) in mineola, ny. matt and nick serra train their standup there as well as pete sell and luke cummo. most of our guys train their ground game at the serras jiujitsu academys in east meadow, ny and huntington, ny.
"Velocity" MMA gym...Atlanta Georgia
how about militech or chute boxe? it's not like the old days, most of the great camps are dedicated to MMA, even if they also teach self defense and other arts. BTT, ATT, AKA, the camps listed above. hammer house gets a B+ for being so good at wrestling, even if they're somewhat 1 dimensional. best camp you've never heard of - Sityodtong USA. you'll see their coach on TUF 4, working with Couture and GSP, and you'll be very impressed.Originally Posted by zimmy
Los Angeles has a lot of good mma gyms. Beverly Hills Ju Jitsu club (Bas Rutten) and the Rickson Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Ctr

I train MMA at the Dean Lister Training Center with The Boxing Club in San Diego... my coach is fighting at Ultimate Fight Night in August... he is Abu Dhabi 2005 champ and has an AWESOME ground game - he worked with Tito's group in TUF 3... we also have Mel Menor - Muay Thai Champ
I have watched Team Quest come in and train before Matt Lindland's recent fight in San Diego... Diego Sanchez came and trained before UFC 60... David Loiseau came and assissted Dean before UFC 60
I love Chute Boxe and MFS... I am going to go to both training centers in the next couple of years to train![]()
