its on sherdog in interview with sylvia in hotel room after last nights fights. there talking about fedor and sylvia calls him tiny lil shit and then goes on about how fedor never fought somebody with his size and skill etc.....fedor is about 230 ... the arlovski wins are really giving sylvia a big head, id love to see fedor get into ufc octagon and make sylvia tap out in about 30 seconds and bring him back to reality, unfortunately i dont see it even happening

He really didnt just put down Fedor the whole time. he said Fedor is an incredible athlete with a huge punch, then proceeds to say "Have you ever seen the guy" He's a tiny little shit but he's an incredible athlete" and you can't take that away from him. He said that Fedor never fought anyone as big with as good take down defense as his (for that size). He said he'd match up well with Fedor and it'd be a great fight. Trust me he was a lot more humble than usual.

I hardly think he is a joke. The guy will never be able to prove himself no matter what he does. He's laid out people like Ricco Rodriguez who was in his prime...knocked out a prime arlovski and then fought him to a winning decision. He's beaten the shit out of every fighter in the ufc except Mir who will get his ass handed to him if he fought sylvia again. He's just big and goofy looking but hey he gets the job done and he wins fights.

Not to make excuses for AA but from someone who knows his sparring partners, i can tell u that AA fought with a recently recovered broken hand, which he did not publicize to the public and a very bruised (if not worse) rib. from what i understand, he also suffered a pretty bad knee or leg injury during the first or second round of the fight.

Neither...in fact i could careless about Sylvia but the man undoubtedly has skills and very heavy hands. He's beaten top contenders time after time and has faced some pretty brutal wars but he gets no respect. People seem to find anything they can on a reason why they don't like him. I must agree but I can assure you my endurace is pretty good. I've been in many fights but not at that professional and not I am not a MMA just a guys with a lot of heart for sure.

I'll stop the bashing on Sylvia out of respect to the fans on this forum, I still dislike the guy and I still feel he is not worthy of that belt and yes because if his physical condition not his endurance but his looks.

You misunderstood my post. No, I do not believe Tim Sylvia has a bodybuilder physique, I am not blind. I said TRY HAVING a bodybuilder physique at 6'8 and maintaining enough cardio endurance to go 5 rounds.

The most recent Silvia vs Arlovski fight just plain sucked in my opinion and the outcome is exactly what happens 95% of the time when you re-match so soon. To me it seemed as they both we scared of each other. 25 minutes of jabs, SWEET. If AA did hurt his knee or foot early in the fight that explains why he wasnt going to the leg any more after half way through the first round. I am still confused as to why two fighters of their caliber didnt really get after it.

I hope that Monson works on his striking enough to be able to hang with a man Silvias size, enough to get him on the ground. Isnt Monson an Abu-Dabi* champion?

I also find it funny how EVERYTIME Silvia comes to fight Team Militech and Silvia say he is in the best shape of his life but shows up 20% bf and not enough gas in the tank. The last fight in my eyes cannot be a judge of gassed or not, they didnt do shit.

I think Silvia will be a champion or a contender as long as the UFC has primarily out of shape heavyweights, well not championship level fight condition. On top of not having really well rounded heavies.

He will always be a tough opponent for anyone though, not many people are as tall as him. Which makes an awkward opponent to begin with but then add heavy hands and fighters start getting scared.

The one thing I DO like about Silvia though is how emotional he gets after he wins. To me it says it really means something to him, other then a paycheck. I wonder if he really does sleep with the belt under his pillow, haha.

Agreed. I box 6 rounds, 3 minutes each when I fight, and I'm friggin pooped at the end of it...this is MMA, with a lot of ground work and total body use, it's gotta be exhausting, moreso than ANY kind of HIT or cardiovascular training....
