Monson vs. Sylvia
As you know, one of our guys is going to be fighting sylvia soon, and I want to know what you all think will happen. I've trained with Jeff for over two years, and man is he a strong guy (never short on AAS ), but his punches are slow as shit. If he takes down Sylvia, you will see a quick tapout.

He won't take Sylvia down. Monson does great at ADCC and is an awesome grappler but I think it'll be very very tough for him to being sylvia down.

I don't really know how it would turn out, but seeing as how Monson had issues with Pe De Pano's reach and strikes, that only conludes me to believe Sylvia would win by KO/TKO.

Sylvia did not look too convincing in his win over Arlovski, I expect Monson to come at him hard in their fight. I think Monson may just take the belt.

I hope Monson fares better, but that height/reach is going to be hard to overcome.

Its obvious, if its standing he has NO chance...if somehow gets to ground then he will win. But the problem is even if he gets Tim down, can he keep him down?? I hate Sylvia, just all the crap he talks and I hope someone beats him down soon and fast...I just dont know if Monson is the man for the job, I hope he is though.
Bring in Aleks E to beat Sylvias ass PLEASE DANA!!! haha

I think it wont be easy for him to bring sylvia down but I'll bet he does at some point.

Yeah, cocunut creek is the most well equipped. Definately check it out because it's worth the experience.
