Unhappy Decided to wait to get back into martial arts

Since i moved i searched around like crazy to find a school that would fit my needs and goals.

Sadly i havent found one, i visited many times the kenpo school near my house, they are heavily involved in musical katas and the kickboxing course is a joke, there are no leg kicks, elbows and the price of it all is way to expensive.

I found the kenpo class to be very boring and nothing has i found on the internet, this karate school is for children and kids not for older people, they make is seem like the student is a super hero, very flashy school but worth crap in real life.

The sensei told me the first time i went that there was suppose to be Jiu Jitsu, and other arts well that didnt happen.

I found another school of kyo kushin but again i went to see the class and all they where doing was katas.

I decided to wait and see if any schools would open in the futur, i rather do some muay thai then worthless katas.

Joining one of theses schools would only get me bored to death and spending money for nothing.

I am not saying they are not good schools, i mean the kenpo school is great for kids and keeps them out of the streets but there sparring is point system and they are covered from head to toe.

This brings me back to my tae kwon do days except we did full contact.

I was shopping around for an MMA school, no style at all just Muay Thai or MMA classes.

THe kenpo school is at 5 minutes of my house, it would have been very good if they offered better classes.

Forms are what i hate the most in martial arts, i rather spend time punching and kicking bags, sparring and learning techniques, then just plain learning forms, weapons and musical.

Its also 45$ per month, which for me is way to expensive for what they offer. If it where Muay Thai i would pay it.

I have seen real kenpo karate and how effective it is, true out the internet but this school has i say really is for kids.
