    brown belt black stripes...........

    thought id let you know my son just turned 12 and daughter 16 just passed their second part of their black belt,brown with black stripe in jujitsu..................
    they will be able to take their black if they knuckle down this time next year...
    i am very proud to say the least...................

    WELL DONE to the little guys mate!! It takes balls and a hell of alot of determination for youngsters to train and stick with it these days,especially with computers and the like!! I'd give them a little treat too as a well done! Congrats again!!!

    they have been at it since my boy was 6 so thatll be 6 years mate........

    Just saw the thread!

    Great job on the part of your kids. I often watch the kid's jits class that is going on before mine. Some of them have beautiful technique and I can only imagine how good they will be if they keep it up through their teen years. A college girl with fifteen years of BJJ training would be pretty safe walking across the college quad at night.

    You've given your kids a real gift in encouraging them to get so far in a difficult and effective martial art. I hope to God that your daughter never gets into any trouble but the scumbag who tries it will think 1) great, I got my body between her legs 2) why is my elbow snapped backwards, 3) why am I getting kicked in the face and I still can't figure out why my arm is all floppy like that, and 4) so this is the guy I'll be "bunking" with for the next 15 years.
