That's because he has no "A" game. He needs to stop fighting while he still has some dignity left.

Shamrock needs to stop fighting. I think when tito kicks his ass for the last time (which i think is a pointless fight) he will retire. He hasnt beat anyone in the light heavyweight division.

Yeah thats true and actually now that i think about it........Since Shamrock is in the UFC hall of fame im sure he gets a nice chunk of money when he fights, win or lose. He needs to just retire.

He's over the hill. He should call it quits soon. His fights are not even interesting to watch anymore.

i disagree, he loves to fight so i say go for it. you always see people trying to make comebacks after retirement, he just never retired. he could lose his next 10 fights, and i would respect him more just for stepping into the ring with these younger guys.
i remember jay-z slammin michael jordan during his last few years playing. jordan had already proved everything, and didnt give a fvck what anyone thought, he just loved playing

i would LOVE to see shamrock beat on ortiz this time around. but i already know it aint gonna happen.hopefully he retires after this, he has nothing to prove but theres no need to keep fighting only to get made a fool of.

Ken Shamrock and Bas Rutten are the best old generation fighters left,
Shamrock's "tough guy" attitude is why people tend not to like him, but for his age, he's in great shape - Bas Rutten is just hilarious

Both the UFC and Shamrock stand to make a lot of money from promoting this crap. Win or lose, he still gets PAID. He is fighting Ortiz for the money, it is not to enhance his career. Everyone should be able to see that. No fighter that is trying to further a career in MMA would take a losing fight 3 times. Shamrock knows his career is over. He is simply cashing out.

Ken stayed way to much into is WWF gimmick, Is first fight in Pride back in 2000, he was roided has hell and gased out, is second fight against Fujita he quit, then he came back to UFC and got beat up silly by Tito.
Ken abuse of steroids and i am pertty sure thats why he is so washed up today, getting big and small.
Training with all the talent in the lion den my only question is how hard did Ken train, he beat Kimo big deal.
I will always be a Ken Shamrock fan, in person he is a great guy and will take to the fans, i met him in a strip club in Montreal after a WWF event back in 1998 and he took the time to talk to me and sign an autograph.
Ken is a legend in the MMA world and in Pancrase, i think that if he retires after the Tito fight October 10th he will be able to walk away with is head up and look back on a great MMA career.
