    D-bol and BJJ???

Was plannin on runnin some dbol at the start of my next cycle, but I am thinking of starting BJJ once again. I've heard dbol will make you gas-out like crazy...like no wind whatsoever!! Has anyone had any expy with a situation like this. The rest of my cycle was gonna be test cyp and eq, so im guessing these shouldn't effect my cardio too much. Worst case senario i'll drop the dbol and just run the cyp and eq.

    Thanks

I did steroids in the past back in 1999 i was always out of breath and always had my heart pumping, from what i ear about bjj its hard on the cardio so imagine if you do take steroids.

If your just starting BJJ then you really only need to be focused on learning the basics and building a correct foundation of fundamentals, how to relax and dont forget to breathe when your in a bad position, how to gain and maintain positions, your base, i dont think your first couple of months in BJJ are gonna require you to be in marathon shape you are just learning!

When you consider competing however then be more aware of your stamina/endurance because BJJ requires a different type of wind, more of a wrestling type i think anaerobic abiltiy, you cant really improve it by just running and doing aerobic exercises.

I would go ahead and do your cycle with dbol if you want to get maximum gains or kickstart the cycle, your cycle gains are a priority since your just starting BJJ and you dont need to be in competition shape yet, just focus on learning the techniques.

Just be cautious of free-training too hard because the last thing you want is an injury during a cycle!! If you roll too hard and hurt your shoulder or something and you cant do upper body exercises then your cycle is pretty much ruined?

I have never cycled but my regular weigh training routine always gets interrupted by injuries, when i hurt my knee i couldnt do cardio or upper body, and right now i hurt my rib grappling really hard it was a freak injury i just bumped and reversed someone heavier than me and then felt my rib messed up, i got all the x-rays and ct-scan and the chiro popped it back in place it wasnt broken but still i cant do any upper body for 3 weeks and then i have to start lightly!!
Normally i would be depressed cause i cant train, but i made it up by focusing more on my cardio and leg training which i was slacking on before!

Just try not to get injured while on a cycle it would suck to have to cut it short!

Thanks for the info bro, I have trained BJJ in the past, I know what ya mean bout aerobic conditioning...thats what i was worried about. I had poor conditioning and still do. I have always been more of a sprinter than a long distance runner. Same with lifting, I do better with heavy weight for low reps, rather than circuit training or high rep schemes. I know some of it has to do with the whole newbie freakout while training and I have been trying to focus on technique rather than power while training. I'll try the dbol at the beginning of my cycle, if I have to drop it I will and I'll just run the cyp and eq. I'll do a log and post how things are going.
