Herring too!
Herring now has a five fight deal with the UFC (www.mmaweekly.com). I've got to hand it to Dana on these latest moves....CC, Herring, Rampage...he's seriously upgrading his most lacking weight classes. I know Herring is no CC, but he does add some depth to a previously dismal HW division. Looking forward to Saturday night...hopefully Dana will parade the new guys out there, and give big Tim a look at the new champ.

Herring will beat Tim, better wrestler and not a bad a striker. However would be so much more effective if they allowed 4 point knee strikes and knees to the head on the ground, Will still be Tim however and Andrei

Herring has not been in great shape the last few years, he does add depth to the division but i would'nt expect him to do much, it depends on Herring and what kind if shape he is in. He started a downhill spiral after taking loses form Fedor and CroCop..went to K-1 and KO'd Nakao before the bell rang and then was to fight for the WFA and now he is in the UFC.
He has not been active enough to comment on really IMO.***No source checks!!!***

Dana seems to be doing the right thing, and i wish UFC gets better cause right now cleaning must be done.
Just compare the Shockwave 2006 card with that awful UFC 66 Tito Ortiz vs Chuck Liddell card.

BTW, when I said Dana should parade some of the new guys out there to give big Tim a look at the new champ, I was referring to CC
I actually don't think UFC 66 looks too bad...Chuck and Tito speaks for itself...AA is entertaining to watch, as is Forrest Griffin. Curious to see how Bisping looks in his debut...Leben and Macdonald could be a good fight. Really not that bad IMO.
Sonar, I'm curious as to what cleaning up you would do to the upcoming UFC cards? 67 has (projected) GSP, A.Silva, CC, Rampage, Melvin Guillard, and Patrick Cote. 68 has (projected) Sylvia/Vera, Hughes, Franklin, Karo, and Swick. 69 may be GSP/Sanchez. I understand that you like Pride, and that's cool and all, but what exactly do you want here?

No doubt Dana is doing what has to be done to put the UFC back at the top... Now if we can get him to put some more cash into production like a Pride show??? I'll be a happy man

I want better fights, great main events, Patrick Cote is from my home town and he sucks dont you agree. I am not a Swick fan at all, Vera is good.
Anderson SIlva, GSP, CC are great, i will have to see about Rampage, i really hope he gets back in top shape.
Check out mmaweekly rumors for the upcoming UFC ppv

Sorry guys i dont mean to come down that hard on UFC but if you look at Pride the whole card is good, almost 90% of the time while UFC is not that good.
UFC got talent but they need to use it better.

Well I still see it as a move in the right direction as we all know the hw-div. is horrible and the more well known names in there, the better.

I din't think the ufc is doing too bad competing with pride as far as talent goes. Pride still has a slight edge, but the ufc just signed 3 big names while fedor is getting ready to fight for bodog.
