Crocop should make short work of Ufc, until he gets his title shot.

Eastman was Jacksons first major fight about 6 years ago if I remember correctly. He took one hell of a beating from Eastman but made it to the final bell and lost by decision.

Their are people far larger than Tim in pride that cro cop, fedor, mark hunt etc are making quick work of. Remember heavyweight means heavyweight in pride... No 260 lb limit...

Crocop decision to go to UFC was pure dumbness, he got no challenge waiting for him over there, instead of going back in Pride and give us the rematch that everyone wanna see him against Fedor.
All theses damn changes in MMA promo are driving me nuts, Fedor in talk with Bodog another dumb move if he signs with them.

Hahaha...Honestly, I wouldn't say that...I think a fight between him and Tim S. would be a good showing, however it would go in crocop's favor.

Ok, to set the record sraight:
Rampage lost to Eastman in KOTC 4 and it was Rampage's first Pro MMA fight. He will avenge it with a TKO come Feb 3rd.
Go and watch the fight, Rampage is out there in knee high socks..it was a war and Rampage was fighting on heart and street skills, had no cardio whatsoever and still gave Eastman all he could handle.***No source checks!!!***

Pride has good fighters, The ufc has good fighter. I watch both cause I enjoy mma. I would change things about pride and I would change things about the ufc. I just like mma

Point is, you don't like UFC, don't watch it. You don't like the fights on the Ultimate Fight Night, which I might add is FREE, then don't watch it.

I love MMA and watch all the events I can but I honestly believe that PRIDE fight cards are USUALLY more entertaining (to me at least).

Take a guy like Chris Leben he comes straight from MMA, he got no backround in Jiu Jitsu, wrestling or sambo or anything else.
Pride fighters are so a lot better rounded.
Muriloninja was right when he said to remove the damn octogone, i would had to this the elbows remove then to have cleaner fights and no dumb stoppage via cut.
With all the signings going on i have high hope for the UFC in 2007, i just dont see the magic watching CroCop fight an under class opponent, Anderson Silva outclassing the Champ first title shot he got, he will destroy Franklin again next time around.
I cant say nothing for Quinton Jackson, i feel he should still be in Pride, and i am sure he will run down Marvin Eastman in the next UFC event.
Pride events look like out of this world greatest show on earth type of thing, where the stadium is jammed packed, UFC on the other hand seems like a giant bingo hall half packed.
I think its good for Chuck Liddell defying is age and really getting the job done each time, Tito Ortiz still learning and Mcdonald submitting is opposition.
Even the next UFC fight night card sucks to high heavens, i will watch it cause its free but just like last time the only good fight was Diego Sanchez kocking out that (Why is he still in UFC anyways ) Joseph Riggs after losing so many times and David Loiseau got canned after losing twice to Rich Franklin and another loser that i hate Mike Swick.

Coming from someone who has been cut in a fight nothing p!sses you off more than loosing because some a$$hole can't fight and hit you with a cheap elbow from the bottom. It screams I can't beat you for real so I will try and get it stopped before I get one of my arms broken....
So yes get rid of the elbows... The octogon I don't think is going anywhere however.. Too much tradition.. It kinda defines the UFC whether you like the UFC or not it's what you think about when you see their logo.. It makes them stand out from boxing, K1, pride and everyone else in the laymans point of view.

How many times do you see a UFC fight get stopped cause of elbow cuts, i mean how good would GSP, David Loiseau and all the big elbow throwers be if they where removed completly from the sport.
I went to almost every TKO event in Montreal and 75% of the fights get stopped due to a cut.
I see MMA has a sport, and the goal of this sport is to submit the opponant or KO.
That is the reason i am a Pride fan and really dont care whatever people say about it.
UFC has a long way to get to get to Pride level status, hell it has a long way to go to get to K-1 MMA division status.

Crop Cop and Tim S. is no fight...its an massacre....Crop Cop is going to dominate the UFC cause really there is no one to get in his way...St. Pierre has now shit on Cocky Matt Hughes and will continue to do so at his weight class...Eventually Rampage and Liddel will fight and that will be a good one to watch!!! The up and comming Thiago Alves is one to watch...powerful..skilled and extremely fast...Mr. Alves will be one of the greats in the next couple years!!!

Thiago Alves is a great fighter with a lot of skills and yes he is one to watch for, another one is Diego Sanchez everyone says that GSP will walk true him but i disagree Diego is another one to watch for.

IMO the octagon is MUCH better than a boxing ring. they dont have to stop the fight and drag them in the middle of the ring. i remember renzo gracie getting a tight rear naked choke on someone (might have been sakaraba), and the other guy went backwards and jumped out of the ring so they had to restart it. renzo knew he had the submission so he went all out and when they restarted it he was spent.
i love pride but i have seen the ring fvck up quite a few fights, what is the advantage to the ring anyway?
