Makes me think about how the WWF made is name in the old days and bought almost all its competition at one point when old pro wrestling where territorial a lot more then international like today.
Or the monday night wars Raw is war against Monday night Nitro.
Now its Dana White buying WFA (Getting Quinton Jackson in the same process) and WEC (I dont know why he doesnt take all the fighters and just kill of both mma federation? sounds like Wec will be running seperated shows.)
Offering Cro Cop a huge amount of $$$ and actually going after talent.
We got Pride FC trying very hard to concer the US market, having a few more PPV this year in Las Vegas.
UFC was suppose to come to my home town of Montreal but its off? dont know why, i know that Stephane Patry the owner of TKOMMA wasnt to happy about this, he lost GSP, David Loiseau, and Patrick Cote to the UFC, well Loiseau is gone but still he isnt gonna fight in TKO anymore.
Frank Shamrock who keeps on facing lame opponants and seems to be running away from a real challenge has signed a deal with StrikeForce has David Loiseau has well, he will be facing a boring over rated Renzo Gracie that he will probably beat in less then a minute.
King of the cage is surviving very well and has upped there PPV price to 29$ pertty high priced to have all no names or has beens on the card.
Bodog fighting have signed Fedor for there March PPV along side brother Alexander?
I can bet that in 5 years most of theses MMA federations will not be around and the last ones standing will be UFC and Pride.
