Sherdog.com is now linked to ESPN.com
Not so sure this is a good thing. In fact, I'm pretty sure it's not...I'm glad that ESPN is starting to cover MMA, but I don't think that Sherdog.com is exactly the best spokesman to represent MMA to the masses, especially on such a large scale as ESPN. Would've much rather seen them go with MMAweekly.com. I can see it now...a random sportsfan surfing ESPN.com says "Hey, I've been hearing about this MMA thing and the UFC/PRIDE...let's check out this link." Then they end up in the Off-Topic forum....yikes.
If you go to ESPN.com, and click on the "more" tab on the right side of the toolbar, sherdog.com is at the bottom.

No, I know there is a difference. And maybe it will be a good thing since you have to actually navigate your way to the forums from the front page. I like Sherdog's news and FighterFinder a lot...I guess it's just the forums that give me worry.

All publicity is good publicity!!!! I'm sure ESPN would have loved to get with UFC/Pride, but I'm sure Zuffa's contract with Spike didn't allow that, so now they are going with the next popular in the 18-34 male bracket.
The only problem with ESPN is they waited too long to attach themselves with MMA and missed the boat with Zuffa.
