Dont get me wrong i was a Herring fan and was very happy to see him back in action after a very long layoff.

Hey he fought the best in Pride might not have beaten them but gave them a fight.

I really hope that Herring got into serious training and we will never see the Herring we saw at UFC fight night couple months back.

this is a filtering type of fight. nothing against herring but the ufc probably paid a good amount for him then he makes his debut and loses to a unknown guy. with this fight they can build up/hype up nog and when herring gets a 2 losing streak debut, they can have reason to show him the door. unless herring specifically wanted this fight (highly doubt it) id guess the main reason for this fight is to get rid of herring.
