    WEC on Versus

Did anyone else watch the live WEC event last night?

I must say it was pretty damn good....Six fights I believe, which is more than Spike shows ever have.

Faber looked good...a little sloppy at the start, but settled down nicely. I'm liking the 145 lb division....great action.

It will be interesting to see what the UFC does with any new talent it keeps having acquired Pride.

Also, thoughts on Frank Mir's commentating?

I've always like Mir as a commentator. I hope he stays in it after his fighting career is over...which, judging by his last few fights, may be sooner rather than later.

WEC on VS was a good show last night...I even watched "Tapout" afterwards. The more free MMA, the better.

I thought Mir was decent also......How was Tapout? As weird as the three of them?

Absolutely. Profiled a pretty decent Jackson fighter, Demarcio Page. It was entertaining, if nothing else. Showed a bit more of the business aspect of MMA.

He had a pretty good knockout on that guy but he's still an Amateur so we'll see if he actually gets somewhere in this sport.

Nope, you saw the new one. Urijah Faber....very solid featherweight, whose only loss is to Tyson Griffin- a young, very promising prospect in the UFC 155 division.

Faber definately has looked good in his fights...145 is where he should stay..too much competition in LHW..especially if UFC brings in some of the Japanese talent.

Faber is not amateur, though...Rar, you must be thinking of a different fighter. Faber has close to 20 mma matches.
