    Evander good again?beats on saverese

I kinda thought that evander holyfield was lying when he said that he had injuries fighting byrd, toney, and, donald, all losses.and that he was a hundred percent after that but I am kinda starting to believe him, on his comeback He floored and hurt fres oqendo, stopped vinny madalone, and beat on lou saverese and floored him twice, all 3 bouts were impressive,do you think he is a threat in the heavyweight division again?

Evander's will always be a threat...kinda like Foreman... it all depends on who he is fighting... People of a certain caliber can do things like that for a long time... All depends on the weight division and timing.. If a division lacks talent, an old elite can continue to do some damage... I am not saying the Heavy weight division is lacking talent, it is just lacking talent compared to Holyfield... one of the all time greats in that division...

Holyfield is a threat in the current Hvywt. division. But he won't do well against the giants of the game. He won't be the Klischko brothers or Sam Peter. But he'll do well against the smaller cats in the division as long as he doesn't attempt to fight to often. He's a true warrior, that's for sure. But I worry about the long term damage he's suffered. He's been through some wars and I think he should have stayed retired, but with all those damned kids, he's has to keep fighting! LOL!!!

    That will usually do it...

One lesson I learned long ago with him... never count him out of any fight, regardless.... that dude does nothing but defy the odds all his life... there has been plenty of times including recently where I counted him out of a fight and he shows up and opens a can up on somebody. He is one of my all time favorites.. i only hate when he fights at the level of his competition with dudes he would normally role over. he does that quite often too.

I think that a lot of fighters come out of retirement for some extra money, but with Evander he is an elite competitor and wont settle for a check... he lays it all on the table... he might be able to handle klischko or peter... I can't count him out. unfortunately age will get him sooner or later regardless.
