BG, I see your point here, but understand it's not like Baroni gassed in JUST this fight...it happens to him virtually every time he fights. I think that's the point everyone is trying to make.

As far as steroids not making you a better fighter, well that's true for the most part. But there are steroids that allow you to recover faster, which is why most fighters who are busted for them are using them in the first place.

Working out in general causes the heart to enlarge. Its a muscle so naturally it grows with increased demand.

Agreed BG, I'm just getting into the MMA scene and I agree that most ppl have no clue as to what conditioning entails..

If anyone saw the fight last night, the posterboy for conditioning is Shawn Sherk. That was unbelievable.

Ofcourse juice is involved with fighters, you've got to be stupid to think it isn't. A fighter could run suspension up until a couple days before a test and pass. I'm sure plenty of guys juice who don't even look like it, they just don't know how to weight train or eat properly like most of the guys you see in the gym.
