    Sherk vs Penn

    Dana said that Sherks next opponent would more then likely be against BJ Penn. That would be one hell of a fight to watch, If Bjs in shape i gotta think hell take that fight but Sherks takedown are crazy. Its definetly close to call

    Also he said Shogun will be fighting 4 the ufc in the fall but didnt mention an opponent yet. Cant wait 2 c him in the octagon

    Rumors are Shogun against Machida. If BJ trains hard and gets his cardio together, I like him against Sherk. That's a big IF though.

    Sherk looked ripped and totally in condition for this fight. It showed he wanted it bad. He has a new fan.

    sherk is always ripped and ready imo. in pride and earlier ufc apperances he looked even better. he obviously cuts muscle for 155.. imo he was a better fighter at 170 with more explosion.

    Both guys fight at 205. I've also heard Liddell v Shogun as well.

    i think bj could finish sherk. franca almost choked em out and almost knocked him out. i think bj could do one better and finish the job.

    ^Agreed.

    From the sounds of it (particularly on other forums around the web) people think Sherk is going to be able to dominate the LHW division for some time to come. Granted he did look great against Hermes...but I think BJ (who is taking training more seriously than he ever has before- interview on Sherdog radio) will pull this one off...with a stoppage.

    I rewatched a couple of his past fights- i.e., GSP & Diaz. The decision could have gone the other way on the Diaz fight IMO...he has weaknesses which can be exploited.

    anyways, I'm really looking forward to this fight.

    yah man, always lookin for subs...some decent TD defence...if he had been more agressive with his striking could have been a split.

    In a different scoring system maybe the nod from some judges.
