My old 16oz gloves were used only for sparring, and worked well. they were red twins. I let a friend borrow them for a sparring session, after which he put the sweaty gloves in his gym bag, zipped it up and left it in his hot trunk for about a week. needless to say, the gloves turned into a breeding ground for all kinds of sweaty mold and fungus that grew inside and outside of the gloves.
I am looking for a new pair of gloves, but this time i will use the set for not only sparring, but bag work and pad work as well. (i have twins bag gloves and 8oz padwork gloves from raja already). I am thikning of getting 14 oz gloves, and have been researching a bit and have become fond of these two gloves...

does anyone have any experience with either?
i know i know the rivals seem a bit pricey, but my friend is replacing my gloves, so i may just throw in a little bit of money over and beyond what the twins woulda cost me.
