I don't see Serra beating anyone.. I think he got lucky with GSP and haven't seen him display anything that would lead me to believe he'll hold on to that belt for any lenght of time...

Dean Lister is a god on ground work. his stand up game is ok too. i thinks hes more of a trainer then a fighter but its good to see him fighting again.
Serra been in some good fights. if Serra dont get taken down, with matt on top he will be ok.

i want serra to win, but my gut tells me hughes wins via i fall asleep while he lnp the decision. silva and liddel can go wither way, but i think its safe to say someone is getting KTFO! penn over stevenson if that is also on the card.

Change of plans
Sorry about the first post. The UFC, and the lightweight division has been in limbo for the last two months or so. Due to the fact that Sean Sherk is holding the lightweight division hostage. First telling us the 29th of Dec, will be against BJ Penn. Now tell us for sure, Jan 19th in London. That fight will be the main event on that card. We were also asured over and over that it would be in stone. Sorry about the first post. At least you got a play by play(j/k).
Regards, rooster101

Maybe a chance at a title will light a fire under BJ's ass and he will come into the fight in good conditioning. If so, it will be a war.
I can see Joe holding his own but Penn has the edge in standup and on the mat.***No source checks!!!***

Its gonna happen at UFC 80.

BJ's stand-up is alot more polished, but Joe has alot of heart and energy. If it goes past the first 2 rounds, Joe wins. That is unless BJ actually decides to train this time. Just promise me one thing muriloninja, if BJ loses, please do not come in here and hand out all of his excuses for him..........

yes because being totally dominating at the end of one round and then looking gas'd a minute later after a triangle (sooo much stamina used for that[sarcasm])... it's OBVIOUSLY an excuse that he seperated a rib.
