Muay Thai / BJJ Schools in Houston Area
Hey guys,
I just moved to the Houston area and am interested in joining a MMA class. I want to concentrate in Muay Thai and/or BJJ. I am 25 and have had no previous formal training in MMA. My main question is, since there are so many schools around here, how do I choose? What should I be looking for? Are there any schools that I have to check out that stand above the rest?
For now, I am just wanting to learn the basics and see how much I enjoy it, but I may want to compete in the future. Am I too old to start training now, and be able to compete with guys who have been doing this for years? THanks in advance for any replies.

I saw Revolution Dojo on the internet and tried to go to there website, but the website seemed to be down. I checked Tim's myspace page, and it said that he was teaching in Baton Rouge at "Gladiator something or other", but was affiliated with REvolution Dojo. So I was wondering if they were still even open. I guess I will have to call.
I have seen Tim fight and am from around the same area as him. I think it would be great to train with him. THanks for the info.
Muri Thanks for the heads up. I'll try to contact him.
