Exactly. As much as I dislike Timmy theres no denying his skill. I dont no why people dont give him any credit. The guys never been knocked out, yet people are saying hes gonna get knocked out in the 1st or 2nd. Im almost certain Fedors gonna win but I doubt hes gonna try and stand with Timmy considering thats Tim's strong point, and also the reach advantage. I got Fedor either by armbar, kimura or some GNP

i completly agree,people seem to forget he hasnt thought a real fight for 2 years and a top 10 fighter in 3! Look at the "unstopable" king of the lightweights jens pulver,he came back to the game and got ko'd by an inexperianced novis(at the time) lauzon.
tim fights regular and beats alot of good guys.this is why its gona be a good fight an actual test for fedor!!

i wish cro cop and arlovsky would both wake up, i liked them both alot but they see to have lost their killer mentality. i would like to see the heavyweight devision come back to being as competitive as the LHW. there seems to be a huge gap between randy/fedor to every one else in the division.

im excited to see fedor fight in the US and against a top 5 guy. i dont really like tim but wouldnt hesitate to put money on him in this fight. however tim is suseptable to submissions and fedor is a guy that you cant make a mistake against. i see fedor winning by arm bar in the third, but fedor bleeding early in the second.

i agree with everything that you are saying about tim. but the fight is going to have 3 x 5 min rounds and for tim that is a great thing, because although he rarely finishes a guy he has a nack for staying away and not loosing. and in a timed fight that is a pretty effictive stratagy for the fighter. we as fans are the ones who loose out, hence the reason that tim has no fan support. i avoid the payperviews if he is on the main card b/c i know what im going to get.

Sylvia did juice at one time and was suspended by the UFC several years ago for testing positive for AAS.

While I believe Fedor is a much better fighter than Sylvia (of whom I personally don't like), styles make fights. This isn't a good matchup for Fedor. 1st because he's a ground specialist (superior sub game and tremendous gnp), but Tim has probably the best take down defense in the game (aside from Chuck). Now I know Randy took him down frequently but IMO Randy is a better pure wrestler than Fedor. 2nd, Tim's height ad the size of the octagon will allow Tim to jab and move much more effectively than in a ring. So as long as Tim can keep Fedor at distance with his jab and a few well placed high kicks and leg kicks, I think he can eak out a victory in a long boring match.

I smell an upset, but I would love to see Fedor rush Sylvia early, take him down, and beat the shit out of his ass. But I don't think that's Fedor's style. He much more calculated than that.
