that will be a good rematch. i feel bad about nog but like the brown ninja said mir looked good and it might not have changed anything.

mir did look good and he didnt even get in to bjj... if he did it prob would have been a diff fight... nog is stellar on the ground and mir is a high level black belt in bjj... people say that they go to see mir practice to get new moves that no one else does ... great fight

Lesnar is a beast but I think the rematch might be to close to call. Is Mirs stand up for real or did Nog just have a terrible night. I think Mir does not get enough credit for how strong he is. Brock is huge but Mir is no small dude

Yes a rematch would be different we are taling about a guy that fought Fedor 3 times and never got KOed.
That was not Nog out there at UFC92 something was wrong for sure, this guy is a legend in MMA and has a great stand up.
Mir looked amazing for sure and i am not saying he would not have won but usually Nog would have gone for the takedown which he did not.

nog looked like he was sick for sure or just didnt take mir and a real deal... mir was a real deal- i heard someone say no one had ever finished nog off on the ground like that...??? either way - mir would be smart not to take a rematch with him any time soon and go after lasner... mir will need to put on a little weight - what cycle would work best for him (to bulk up to lasner???lol)

Mir won that fight by fighting Nog different than everyone else.
He went in to knock nog out on his feet. He did not pounce on him to GnP him out every time he knocked him down.
He walked away, and had him stand up.
If he jumped down there, Nog would have pulled him into his game.
I thought Nog would have better hands. Mir just went in confident, and ready to stand. I think Mirs plan actually caught Nog off gaurd more than anything. I don't think Nogs chin is really too bad. He took some solid shots that did not KO him.

Nogs hands are superior to Mir's but his gameplan wasn't. I think Nog was taken off guard by the aggression and looked very flat on top of that. At this point in their careers though I think a focused Mir beats Nog again

Staph is very serious but everyone always has some sort of nagging injury or one even more serious than nagging. I love Nog but I seriously question if he can come back from that performance. I sure hope that he can.
