GSP or BJP
Did I miss the thread or is noone talking about it? I would like to see Bj win but my officail picks is GSP by stopage. And on the machida and Silva I think it will come down to who gets the other one to fight his fight. If machida is able to use his elusiveness he will win, but if he can;t stay away he will loose. I don' think he can sustain an engaged battle with silva. What you got?

^^^^I hope we are on like the last one....gps training looks good but penn head is hard.

I think Penn has this one. Looks like he is really committed to training now. But honestly...I think no matter who wins...it will be a good man winning and a good spokesperson to represent UFC

I'll take GSP. He has looked unstoppable since coming back from that Serra loss.

GSP. Hands down.
BJ's conditioning isn't shit compared to G's. He can go all fight, but he doesn't have the intensity towards the end.

That has always been the knock on bj and you could very well be right this time as well. I think that he has turned the corner on that but i guess we will find out on saturday night. I can't wait

I see GSP as so vastly improved over his (as a benchmark) first fight with BJ, and BJ as, by comparison, better conditioning, but only margonally better, comparativly speaking. Although both have a decent chance to win this fight I give the advantage to GSP.

the more I see of BJ the more I want GSP to win. Penn is a cock but I still think he takes it

GSP is a better trained, more athletic, and more determined fighter. This is the biggest fight of both of there careers, and with that in mind I would have to go with the the obvious on paper which is GSP. BJ has that chance of KO. Everyone has a button. Should be a great fight!

If BJ comes in conditioned well he has a good shot but i have to think GSP will be the victor.

here is a copy of the full card. I like the co-main event alot too! Diaz vs. Guida should be hot. Guida is an animal! I do think he will get subbed though.

My household is split. My wife is Hawaiian. But she insist Benn is going to win. I'm going with the more athletic GSP. Even though in the fight game the most athletic doesn't always win, Penn training methods are somewhat suspect at time to me. He tends to slack a bit and it hurts his conditioning. GSP is a machine.

GSP is unreal but Penn is so ghetto. I think he will be impossible to sub or KO so it literally going to take him gassing to lose this fight. Are there any other 170lbers on planet earth that can hang with these two? I can't wait for this fight.

I think that Thiago Silva is going to get out classed by Machida. I think that Machida is boring but very good. I will be pleasantly suprised if Silva pulls this out......anything honestly, that will keep Machida away from the title

Karo's fight should be interesting as well. He has been way off since that ALves Ko. It would be nice if he could get back to the top of his game but this should be a very tough test. That being said he's quite the prick so it never breaks my heart to see that kid lose.

any link for the fight tonight

GSP made his point tonight. He knew not to just stand and bang too long and that on the ground he could use his size and cardio to beat on Penn. Good game plan. I wonder if he can manhandle Alves like that

The GSP vs BJP fight went just how I thought it would.

machida looked like a million bucks last night. I was really impressed. I think a fight vs Evans is looming

Yeah man I was really impressed with Machida. Can you imagine a fight if his opponent did not pursue him? Do you think the two jackasses would just stare at each other for 15 minutes in the ring?

God Rashad vs Machida would be amazing. It would look like a dance off. As much shit as we flick in Machida's direction he sure can fight. Very very impressive. He is so accurate with he is strikes....when he throws them

I know this is a little late but was anybody else disappointed with Clay Guida's performance against Nate Diaz? I mean he won the fight but really all I saw him do was literally hold onto Nate for the last 2 rounds. It just bored the hell out of me because Nate definitely got the best of him in the stand up but then when Guida would clinch his back, I was wondering if the judges gave him credit for any of those takedowns because most of them Diaz initiated with tripping Guida's back leg but Guida would somewhat have dominant position when they went down because he had Diaz's back. Although Diaz was able to immediately get back up every time he tripped Guida and took him to the mat.
I do not feel as though Guida won that fight...I think either Diaz won it or it should have been a draw.
