Vitor Belfort
word is he is coming back to the UFC at his true weight of 185. WOW !!! I think he will be great again and at 185 i think will be the only one that would give Anderson Silva a run for his money. If there is anyone faster than Silva and awesome striker. It can be Vitor. I am a huge fan of both and would pay anything to see this. The 185 weight class is looking amazing for the next couple of years

it would b great for the divison. with wandy coming down, vitor coming over, hendo & bisbing established, looks like alot of good matchups for what has been a boring division. also looks like a mini pride. maybe theyll have a middleweight tournament.

yes that has a lot to do with it. He is supremely talented but seems to come up short in the fights that matter

yup....ur dead on....
incredibly talented individual....but rumors of mental issues, depression, (even more rumors about the depression being related to using then not using gear) have only been given support via his up and down performances...one fight, he is showing every bit of his ability, then the very next fight its clear his mind, not body, is not where it needs to be....
would very much enjoy seeing some stability from Vitor...top notch potential....and he's not getting any younger

Yeah if im not mistaken he also had some drug related issues at some point as well. If that guys head would be in the right place 80% of the time he would be a superstar. Hope he is well now and gives it all he has the last years he has in MMA. No matter what he has a fan in me.

I hope Vitor and Anderson Silva fight.... that is one of the best matchups in MMA right now. I watched Vitor from the beginning and was disappointed on some of his pointless losses.... but even on any of his losses he's never been rolled, not even once... the one with Randy was a multi-fight elimination and he was just so gassed he gave up. Other than that loss, he didn't look impressive in his losses, but neither did the winner. The fights were always like, what the heck Vitor aren't you going to turn it on?
he's been on a roll now and has shown some consistency... he needs to stay in the ring and make his final run. he's been destroying the middleweights... btw, he will kill wandy again if they rematched... Vitor is Brazil's best, including better than machida and anderson silva...imo

Silva and Vitor trained at Black Belt for a while in Brazil... when Anderson started rolling the middleweights, Vitor announced and moved to Middleweights....personally, and this isn't fact, I think Vitor knows he can roll Anderson from the training...Also, Machida is kicking but and taking names right now, but he is not as dominant as Vitor has been when on queu. I will throw some money down on either of those two fights backing Vitor.... when it comes to the Brazilian crown, he trains the hardest and takes it very personal. When they made big hype on the wandy vs vitor brazilian king... vitor destroyed him in seconds, and wandy still hasn't taken a beating like that in the cage to this day.

I agree with you that Vitor is very talented....He just isn't as good as Silva and I am not ready to say he isn't as good as Machida yet....I would like to see Machida defend his title a couple of times but I must say that he looks extremely impressive so far.

Not to sound rude but Vitor is a mental midget. He will always crumble under top tier pressure. He beat tito in my opinion but I dont ever see him shaking any division again like he did when he first burst onto the scene.

Vitor has always had the skills and talent but something is missing. He seems to get bored or just flat out lose interest at times. I think if he came in properly motivated he could compete with anyone but I am not sure that he can get to that point. He beat a shitty Terry Martin and Matt Lindland, who is always dangerous. I am not sure that means he can knock off the top dogs. Hell it wasn't that long ago that Hendo, a natural 185'er, destroyed him in Pride. I wish him all the best and hope that he comes back strong but I wouldn't lay any cash on it.

I guess first things first but I really hope that the UFC signs him. That would be huge. Shouldn't he be about 34?

Either way it's not late for a title run if he gets his head right. Hate to say it but I don't see that happening
