yep, but probally wont happen soon. he has mark coleman his first fight and i see a rematch with forrest after that, win or loose the coleman fight. hes a big name and carries alot of fans and a good, not great fighter. i cant stand him, but like to see him fight so that i can cheer against him. real good for the ufc. imo

this might just be somebody telling me lies, but according to somebody i met over hear in iraq, their brother trained with him recently and according to the story at least.. his back truly is totally healed and 1000%..
i duno if this is true or not, the guy seems trust worthy, but i hate to spread rumors based on people just talking..
but! if it is. i think that tito could have a real shot at running through 90% of the light heavy division, i don't think he is the best, but a 100% tito is a hard man to beat for the most partLast edited by quarry206; 08-11-2009 at 12:40 AM.

Tito has zero chance healthy or not of doing anything note worthy in the lwh division. PM me with all bets for his first real fight. Not the set ups stuff.

i think that he is a great set up fighter, alot like jardine. for a top contender trying to get back in the hunt (forrest) or for a contender waiting on his shot (silva) or even an up and comer trying to make his name (jon jones). if they loose, they lost to an xchamp and hall of famer, and if they win, step closer to the belt.

Would love to see Tito vs Wandy rematch or Tito vs Anderson. Why not Tito vs Shogun as well. Does anyone not see him crushing Coleman?

I also think Tito is great for the UFC due to his following, but after seeing his last two fights, I think hes gettin ready to get smacked down!

Ortiz will always be tough but the game has evolved so much. He started losing as soon as other big 205's came in. Chuck, Randy, and imo vitor(I know tito won but I scored it for vitor). He wont fight page, Rashad would beat him no draw this time. Shogun its hard to say, forrest yes, Anderson yes. Tito will never be easy to beat but I dont see him making waves in the division.
According to sherdog baroni is also making a comeback, the cardio machine is back...

I hear you, he's a decent fighter too, a good brawler atleast...he must be lazy. If I were a fighter and the difference between being ok then pretty good was cardio...you would just put the work in. Seems he just wont do it.
Side note: That video about his car was very funny !!

If he(baroni) stopped getting kicked out of gyms and trained with other people who had cardio instead of hammer house it might be different but it wont they will feed him to some up and coming fighter. Who will take him down and pound him out for 3 rounds for the dec. Hell Riggs just mopped the floor with him why isnt riggs back.

Out side of his smack talking, Baroni is worthless, some how, he has a name in MMA with a really bad record.
Tito is a legitimate fighter though, while he's not the best LHW in the world, he is a contender in the top 10, probably will remain in the lower 5.
He's not old, or washed up, he's had some injuries but there are a lot of interesting match ups for him.
With it being said, that he is a respectable LHW, he is also in the deepest class out there. I doubt he could cut to 185, but if he did he'd be a contender there with Spider now out of the way.
It would be intresting to see him fight Wanderli again, I'd like to see him vs. henderson also. Tito is a real strong kid vs a solid striker/grecro roman Henderson.
There are a ton of good fights in the LHW class, they could headline a LHW bout on every single card if they wanted. The title keeps changing hands in this class for a reason.
