Should be a great fight. If Vitor comes in "interested" it should be a war. The fight should play out on the feet. Vitor should have the edge on the ground.

vitor is the better boxer speed is close to the same ground game vitor kicks anderson. power one punch power anderson.. What's going to hurt anderson is that vitor is a lefty that will throw him off

Is it still going to be UFC 108 for the new years card? Hopefully that will be one stacked night.
I will be pulling for Vitor. I think he should take it if he fights with fire like he has been. It will be well worth the show though. Vitor doesn't get knocked out, so it should be interesting to say the least.

Anderson wins tko in the fourth. It will be a good up intill vitor looks for a way out of the fight. The fight with franklin he didnt look spectular and it didnt last long enough for anyone to see if he has really coquered his demons and I personally doubt he has or ever will.

This fight is total injustice to Dan Henderson and Nate Marquardt, who where suppose to fight for the number one contender spot at the next shot at Anderson Silva.
Taking nothing away from Vitor who has bounce back in a major way after suffering some very boring fights in is Pride FC stint, he does have a chance to beat Silva.
But I feel he did not pay is dues just yet and should have gotten at least 2 more fights before getting that title shot against Silva.
Same has Shogun Rua against Mashida, a win and major struggle over Mark Colman and Chuck Liddel there he is containder title shot.
Good thing that UFC uses there marketing abilities to book fights, if I was one of theses fighters who lost my title shot to a new comer I would be pissed out of my mind.
I cannot blame Dan Henderson who wants to leave UFC.

I don't know bro, you make some good points, but Dan Henderson and Anderson Silva have already fought... I think Dana is trying to make things a little more exciting.... not that Hendo vs AS isn't going to be exciting, but every weight class has PPV events that are rematches upon rematches upon rematches... if he can bring more excitement it makes it a little more interesting... think if Vitor pulls this off.. Hendo took Vitor so it will be exciting and then he also has another hendo AS match and another rematch for Vitor and I haven't even thrown Nate in the mix yet.
As far as Vitor paying his dues... in my opinion, AS is a hotter commodity right now and on fire right now, but Vitor's fight portfolio runs much, much deeper and more tenured than AS by far. Vitor's has held the Heavyweight bout, LHW bout, and is contending for the Middle weight... who has ever held 3 bouts? Also, Vitor has been up and down, but he has never dodged a big fight and never been dominated and he has fought all the best that UFC has ever, ever had.. no bs on that either. I think he beat Chuck Liddell and Tito Ortiz and he took the Chuck fight on like a 2 week notice... who has ever done that to chuck.
Should be good. I will get off his jock now, I hate nut huggers, but I just would like to see Vitor make one more solid run. He was my fav in the UFC early years so I will be pulling for him.

i went to vegas to train last month and vitor was there training i only got to talk to him once and he seemed really nice.. he is for sure a lot better not that he is training at randy's gym.. he is working on everything not just his hands.. His last two fights have been so fast we have not got to see his whole game but trust me he is a lot better.. i think he beats anderson and i think hemdo would be a war.. Not that hendo is better than andersom just the match up.. if hendo fights vitor like he did anderson it will be a short fight for vitor he will blow threw him. For hendo to win he has to get fight to the ground not stand and trade with vitor that's the kiss of death
